I've been Preparing for This

In October, I decided that I wanted to run for student body president.  I've not only used that time to prepare my campaign video, but I have attended senate meetings, talked to active participants in student senate, and kept up to date with senate activities. Over these last 5 months, I have been thinking about what type of president I would be and how I can support the many groups on campus. One of the major policy changes that I've heard many students and some administrators talk about is open dorm hours.   Open dorm times are often hated and thought of as awkward.  I believe this thought stems from not having open dorms very often. If elected president, I will work with the student body to revise the policy and hopefully create a better atmosphere for guy-girl friendships.
